Hotel La Conca Azzurra is located in Conca dei Marini, a small fishing village on Italy's Amalfi Coast and a long standing favorite amongst those looking to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday by the sea.
Conca dei Marini was the preferred retreat of the Dutch Royal family, Jacqueline Kennedy and members of Italy's Agnelli dynasty.
Just steps away from the Grotta dello Smeraldo
Situated a mere twenty meters away from the hotel, the Grotta dello Smeraldo, is one of the Amalfi Coasts most fascinating natural wonders. The 30 meter wide karst cave is linked to the sea via an underground tunnel through which the sunlight makes its way into the main cavern, painting the walls a magnificent shade of emerald green. On the floor of the cave, an underwater nativity scene, made from ceramics produced in the nearby town of Vietri, is staged. Each Christmas Eve, divers place the figure of baby Jesus in his watery crib.
Praiano, Positano, Amalfi and Ravello all lie within easy driving distance of the hotel. Guests traveling by car are welcome to use our private car park, free of charge. From Conca Azzurra, you can easily get around using public transport: the nearest bus stop is directly opposite the hotel.
